Research Interests:
I have worked and collaborated on multiple subject areas, with a focus on genetics, genomics, and bioinformatics. Currently as a Ph.D. student in Plant Breeding and Genetics at Cornell and a member of the Buckler Lab, I am researching how maize landraces are adapted to diverse environmental conditions. My aim is to identify useful alleles that could be used to further the objectives of plant breeding programs.
Education:
• B.S. in Genomics Biotechnology, Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, Monterrey, Mexico

• M.S. in Bioinformatics, University of Glasgow
