Research Interests:

During my time in the Buckler lab, I worked on mapping freezing tolerance in Tripsacum, genome assembly with long-read sequencing technologies, and developed GASCO (Genome Annotation by Similarity of Consensus to Orthologs) for my Master's thesis.
I’m interested in bioinformatics research and software development with an emphasis on agricultural applications. I currently work as a Genomics Data Curator with the Genomic Open-source Breeding informatics initiative (GOBii), rolling out the Enterprise Breeding System (EBS) and training clients on EBS.
Education:
• M.S. Plant Breeding, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY
• B.S. Plant and Soil Sciences, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA
• A.S. Liberal Studies, Middlesex Community College, Bedford, MA
