Research Interests:

After completing my master's degree, I worked as a lab technician for three years at several plant biology labs at the University of California, Davis. I joined the Buckler group after my family moved to Ithaca. As a lab technician in the Buckler Lab, I collected tissue samples; extracted DNA, RNA and protein samples; and prepared DNA and RNA libraries for next-generation sequencing protocols and sample sequencing. My duties also included assisting in designing and optimizing non-standard protocols. I am now working in the Cornell Genomics Facility.
