Research Interests:

 

My research interests include genetic engineering, plant physiology, genomics, and root development. In the Buckler Lab, as a part of the CERCA project, I intend to harness evolutionary genomics to engineer perennial-like nutrient recycling in maize elite varieties to mitigate the emissions of greenhouse gases derived from maize agriculture.
