Research Interests:
I joined the lab after a brief stint in industry as a software engineer. A lifetime programmer, I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy after being told some hokum about the “unexamined life” (whatever that is) by my tunic-obsessed high school guidance counselor.

I am excited about the opportunity to sharpen my plant breeding and genetics knowledge while working as a programmer in the lab. Additionally, I am motivated to apply what I learn about breeding to my primary research interests: silviculture, silvopasture, agroforestry, regenerative agriculture, permaculture, and ecology.
Education:

-
B.A. in Philosophy, The Ohio State University
-
M.S. in Data Science, University of Colorado Boulder
