Research Interests:

I am a graduate student in the Section of Plant Breeding and Genetics  and I'm working on the Practical Haplotype Graph in maize and investigating genetic variation and genetic load in the Andropogoneae. 

​

For my master’s degree, I generated and identified candidate genes involved in male gametophyte development using plutonium-beryllium mutagenesis and mapped modifiers of the cross-incompatibility system, teosinte crossing barrier 1 (tcb1) in maize.
