Sherry Whitt was lab manager when the lab was at North Carolina State University.  She led research on molecular diversity in the starch production pathway and determined the functional nucleotide polymorphisms that caused natural sweet corns. She is currently a researcher with BASF in the Research Triangle of North Carolina.
